Launch of Vevo
Universal Music Group and Google have partnered to launch Vevo, a music video service. Per Universal chief, Greg Morris: "Vevo will bring the most compelling premium music video content and services to the world’s single largest online video audience". Universal will own the site, but Google/YouTube will provide the technology (per Google). Last night music celebs came out to support the launch at SkyLight Studios in NY:
