Mayer in an interview with Rolling Stone complained about a Taylor Swift's song "Dear John". Mayer is claiming that the song is about a brief romance that he and Swift shared.
In the article Mayer says " says he was "really humiliated" by the tune -- adding that "it made me feel terrible because I didn't deserve it. I'm pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that. It was a really lousy thing for her to do."
"I never got an e-mail. I never got a phone call," he says. "I was really caught off-guard, and it really humiliated me at a time when I'd already been dressed down. I mean, how would you feel if, at the lowest you've ever been, someone kicked you even lower?" When asked about the song's line, "Don't you think I was too young to be messed with?" Mayer says, "I don't want to go into that."
It's always so interesting when someone who is known for saying whatever pops into his head about any of the number of women he has dated in the past gets upset because a little bit of karma has come back to him.
I don't want to sound preachy so I will just highlight a few of Mayer's past foibles:
In an interview with Playboy, Mayer talked about his relationship with Jessica Simpson saying their sex life is like "crack cocaine" and "sexual napalm".
Why he doesn't date black women "My dick is sort of like a white supremacist" and making out with Perez Hilton "I grabbed him and gave him the dirtiest, tongue-iest kiss I have ever put on anybody".
Mayer then told Playboy, "Someone asked me the other day, 'What does it feel like now to have a 'hood pass?' And by the way, it's sort of a contradiction in terms, because if you really had a 'hood pass, you could call it a n-gger pass."
