Preachers of LA Recap

In this weeks episode of Preachers of LA it seemed like the spotlight was on the family bonds and how addiction can test even the most sanctified and saved preacher...

The episode started with Pastor Ron & family getting ready to holy roll to Compton to get his heroin addicted sister in the trap house intervention style. Imagine 1 man and 3 of the Deaconess Usher board hopping in a G-wagon out to really do the Lords work.

Ratchet Reality Rewind: Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

My faveeeeeeee housewives: Beverly Hills were on last night and the dramz did not dissapoint.

I must say there is nothing worse than a reformer... reformed ho...reformed addict... cause they are always looking for company.

Case in point Kim and her attempting to paint Taylor as a bad mother and a drunk. While I think Taylor has issues, staging a fake bad intervention that is being filmed definitely isn't the answer. I haveto chalk this one up to Kyle bringing the dramz as per usual, but hey, I could be wrong and each one teach one.

At Yolanda's housewarming party for Muhammad, Marissa once again uses yet another opportunity to embarrass her husband in public. Seriously I need her to invest in a stylist because her look is atrocious, and I need her to stop saying that she wishes she could have sex with other men. She's gonna mess around and make her dreams a reality, cause I guarantee you there are a host of heaux plotting on her husband....

Jersey Shore cast talks Salary Negotiations

REALLY??? I am obviously in the wrong biz. Word is MTV is negotiating with the cast and the cast is holding out...
Per TMZ:
MTV offered each cast member a $10,000 signing bonus and $5,000 per episode. We're told the cast rejected the offer and made it clear they would all stand together and hold out for their price, though they didn't say what it was. MTV made a new offer of $10,000 an episode -- there are 12 episodes in the new season -- but so far the cast hasn't responded.

Let's Talk Aabout Pep

Who else will be tuned in besides moi???? If she's gonna be like how she was on the last reality show she did with Salt, it should be full of dramz. The show will focus on Pep trying to find love along with her gal pals Jacque, Kittie and Joumana (as in Jason Kidd's ex-wife).

Per Vh1:
Let's Talk About Pep is a real life comedy following Sandra "Pepa" Denton of Salt-n-Pepa fame as she emerges from several years of romantic and sexual dormancy, brought on by some seriously lousy relationships. Now she's ready again to search for love and action in the capital of hooking up, New York. She's joined by three friends also trying to negotiate the romantic minefield of NYC.
Airs tonight on VH1 at 10:30p

It's Official!! Basketball Wives on Vh1, March 2010

Heather Williams(l), Jennifer Williams(r) at opening of their company "Flirty Girl Fitness" in Chicago in 2007

One of my oldest friends, Jennifer Williams, and her other NBA chics (i.e. Shaunie O'Neal & Evelyn Lozado, plus many more) are premiering their show called Basketball Wives. The eight-episode 30-minute series is set to premiere on March 15, 2010!! Get your popcorn ready-it's gonna be good!

Per the press release from VH1:

VH1 has teamed up with the wives and girlfriends of some of the NBA’s most elite players to give the viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the glamorous life of a professional basketball player’s wife in VH1’s original series, “Basketball Wives.” Production is set to begin on the series in December 2009. The eight-episode 30-minute series is set to premiere on March 15, 2010.
This series is about the insider life of the wives, girlfriends and a few ex-wives of some of the biggest ballers in the game. These ladies live the life. They drive the
best cars, live in the biggest mansions, wear designer clothes and jewelry and only travel first class. But living the high life is not all glamour. In order to protect it, they have to deal with the jealousies and dramas of living in — and staying in — the inner circle. They must also keep the groupies at bay while their husbands and boyfriends are traveling on the road for over six months of the year playing ball all-the-while wondering if their spouses are being faithful to them.
The cast is filled with the wives and ex-wives of superstars including Jennifer Williams (wife of Eric Williams), Evelyn Lozada (ex-fiancĂ© of Antoine Walker), Mesha O’Neal (wife of Jermaine O’Neal), Royce Reed, Faith Rain (Udonis Haslem’s girlfriend) and Shaunie O’Neal (wife of Shaquille O’Neal) who will also serve as Executive Producer on the series.
“The public has an obvious fascination with the wives of star athletes. This series will show viewers not only the glamorous side of being a celebrity wife but also the challenges and
hard work that go with it,” said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Production. “The wives of star athletes form one of the most unique and exclusive groups of women in the world. You only have to look as far as the nearest headlines to see what sort of pressure they are up against to keep their relationships and their families together. These women truly have a strength formed by fire. We are thrilled that they are allowing us into their lives to see things through their lens and understand why their friendships and bonds make them a force to be reckoned with.”
“Having been around these remarkable women for several years, I have always recognized that behind every NBA star is a strong, exceptional woman, one who must deal with the unique challenges of being married to the game as well as the player. I am happy to be teaming with Shed Media and VH1 in bringing this entertaining and enlightening world to television,” stated Shaunie O’Neal, executive producer for “Basketball Wives” and wife of NBA superstar Shaquille O’Neal.
