Google High Tech Glasses Walk the Runway

Get you some!

Fashion got even more glam on Sunday, as Google sent its high-tech glasses down the runway at the Diane Von Furstenberg show at NYFW.

Models at the DVF show strutted down the runway in Google's high tech frames as they displayed the designer’s fly a** clothes. The glasses contain a camera, a display screen and a processor that lay information over your environment so that you can interact with the world around you almost as if you were looking at it on a smartphone. COOL!

J. Hud does QVC

Not only will J. Hud bless my tv screen with her weekly presence on Smash this Fall, but she will also launch her clothing line with QVC on Sept. 6 during one of the kickoff events for New York Fashion Week.

Marc Jacobs Fall 2010

Love this man and his antics! Marc Jacobs showcased his Fall 2010 show at the Lexington Ave Armory last night.
Per the Daily News: "At the beginning of the show, Marc Jacobs ripped away paper to reveal the models wearing his collection. The models stood against a backdrop of walls covered in corrugated cardboard (which was stapled to the wall) in what looked like a crate or a large box" (LOVES IT)!

Yesss, it's my fave time of year in NY. It's Mercedes-Benz Fall Fashion week! Celebs are all over checking out the new fashions and getting paid, of course! Here are a few cute men (Lee Pace, 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto, Gossip Girl cutie pie Chace Crawford, actor Ryan Phillippe, Twilight’s Kellan Lutz, & The Deep End’s Mehcad Brooks) at the Fall 2010 Calvin Klein Men's Collection yesterday.

RIP Alexander McQueen

The best to ever do it has died. Alexander McQueen was found dead at his flat in London, and is believed to have hung himself. I absolutely loved his shoes and he was my fave designer. So sad & very tragic...

Lee Alexander McQueen was the youngest of six children, brought up in the East End of London and obsessed by fashion his entire childhood. After leaving school at 16, he worked as an apprentice tailor on Savile Row, home of bespoke men’s tailoring for several years. He also created clothes for theatrical costumiers Angels and Berman’s. Only after this practical education in the construction of clothes did McQueen move into fashion design, firstly working for designer Koji Tatsuno, then Romeo Gigli in Milan. He eventually found his way to to Central Saint Martins, by this time aged 21, to undertake an MA in fashion design.His graduate collection from Central St Martins was bought by legendary stylist and fashion muse, Isabella Blow, who continued to support and mentor him for the rest of her life. He launched his own label straight away and began building his reputation for uncompromising design and mind-blowing theatrics at his shows.
