Nail It!

I took a quick walk for lunch to my favorite salad place in midtown, and counted over a dozen flip flopped ladies. I only wish I was as smart as they were to have walked with my flip flops this morning (it looked like rain!)

In case we are lucky to get this type of weather again tomorrow (fingers are crossed), I am more than ready to bare my freshly done mani/pedi. See ladies, I treat my self to a weekly mani/pedi (yes, even in the winter). There's nothing in the world like a fresh coat of paint on your fingers and toes, in shades of neon, frenchies,

Last night Tinsley was invited to a fabuuuu primp party at Benefits Soho hosted by Angela Yee, of Power 105.1 and Draya of Basketball Wives LA.

We enjoyed complimentary Beauty Confession cocktails served by Belvedere while the teams of Benefit Cosmetics and LaureLuxe Metal Couture created fashion week looks.

The Hot Mess of the Day…Tan Mom

Tan Mom Patricia Krentcil was slizzard and showing out on the red carpet for XL Nightclubs weekly “Hot Mess” party. Krentcil stumbled the red carpet flashing her granny panties and doing her best Victoria Secret Model pout.

After falling out more times than a sinner walking the center aisle on Resurrection Sunday, Krentcil had to be escorted off stage after trying to snatch the host’s mic.

Reality Rewind..We Watch So You Don't Have To!

L.A. Hair Salon Tour: Amoy Couture Hair, NYC
A new episode of L.A. Hair came on WEtv last night and the drama continues. Angela the backstabbing former protege was back from suspension and causing waves with the new stylist China.

China is going all the way live already, and is making Angela look like Molly Meek with her over the top attitude and demands...She expects that when she calls for the receptionist that they be right at her elbow asking her what she needs (Where has she worked? cause it sounds like she wants an indentured servant not an assistant).

Seriously where did Kim find her? she is popping off hard, I guess the old adage of while the cat is away the mice will play and China is causing an uproar in the Kimble Salon while Kim is doing house calls.

Meanwhile Shari Headley is back in the salon with a hair emergency. In the last episode Kim cut a new do' for her only to have to do an emergency weave attachment when Shari had to do re-shoots for a movie she was filming. Kim proved why she is the weaveologist to the stars because fried, dyed and laid that ish to the side!

The episode rounded out with Jazz interviewing guys for dates with Kim and they even surprised Kim with a blind date with a cutie pie.

I <3 this show because the stylist are like every other stylist I have ever met whether ratchet or hoity toity they bring the dramz and don't care who is sitting in their chair when they do.

Renoir in the 20th Century

Aww mang! How i wish i was in LA to catch this!! The Los Angeles County Museum of Art is showcasing Pierre-Auguste Renoir's art from February 14–May 9, 2010. Some of his great work includes Terrace at Cagnes and Gabrielle with a Rose (seen above).
Per the museum:
Renoir in the 20th Century focuses on the last three decades of Renoir’s career, when, following his rupture with impressionism, he turned to an art that was decorative, classical, and informed by a highly personal interpretation of the Great Tradition.
