Wedding Bells for The Game

Chapter 3 in the On/Off/On wedding saga/reality tv bonanza that is rapper The Game's life continues. The nuptials were scheduled for July 28th but at the last minute the wedding was called off and The Game tweeted:

"The rumors are TRUE. The wedding is OFF. It's not her fault, it's mine ! She's a GREAT woman, I just wasn't man enough 2 see it through...Not everyone has a happy ending."

The wedding was being filmed for an upcoming reality show but was scrapped due to The Game calling the nuptials off at the last minute.

Game and his fiance Tiffney Cambridge have reconciled and the wedding is back on....

SMH...Love and a paycheck can make you do dumb things.

Another Monday and the ladies of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta are back with the ratchetness front and center. The episode opens with Joseline at a photoshoot and Stevie J coming in and confronting her regarding the "threatening" text that she sent Mimi.....yeah I thought they were going to come to blows but Stevie pulled himself together and walked out.


Buckey (aka Shay) and Mama Dee met for lunch (cue Mama Dee saying "She left me son for dead! in her best Florida Evans imitation). Mama Dee may have inadvertently messed up Scrappy's new relationship by having her timeline wrong as to how/when/whycome Erica was around when Scrappy had his asthma attack. 


Karlie Red and K.Michelle had a showdown and predictably it didn't go well and yeahhhhh K.Michelle ends up looking crazy.


Rasheeda debuted her video to a less than packed crowd at her video release party and decided to have a secret meeting with a manager behind her husbands back to see if someone else can help her get her career on track. Clearly she needs to go listen to Biggies Ten Crack Commandments cause he addressed her situation at #7 on his list. 


Scrappy and Erica go another round regarding their relationship and yes he is back because he doesn't want her to file for child support.  


Benzino set up a romantic date for Karlie at his home with lobster and presents. 


Just on a personal note I would like to address the executive producers of LAHHA... please I beg of you NO MORE open mouth kisses between Karlie and Benzino. I felt a level of lipcurling disgust I haven't experienced since seeing this .

LA Hair

A new episode of LA Hair debuted on Wetv last night and as usual the drama was front and center. Anthony is still a receptionist and bumping heads with crazy China. Actually China is butting heads with everybody, and the situation gets worse when Kim surprises her staff by letting them know that she  is opening a larger salon and that the new girl China is in charge while she is away working. Yes... the China who popped Terry with a comb and has attitude for everyone except Kim.



 Kim also took the cameras with her while she styled the hair for Monica and Brandy's music video, and while she was away the Angela, Dontay and Terry plotted on how to get China to step down from being the boss.


SMH....Kim is riding for China like China gave her a kidney. Its clear that Kim didn't realize that she threw a molotov cocktail into her own salon.....This is clearly a case of forgetting that you can't bring all your friends with you when you move to the next level cause some people just don't know how to act.

A sneak peak of the show Big Ang debuted on VH1 last night. The name of the show says it all. Big Ang lives big and parties big! Ang owns a bar named the Drunk Monkey and she rides with a bunch of rowdie chicks (imagine the Jersey Shore in 30 years).

Episode 1 debuted last night, featuring Nicole Murphy (Eddie Murphy’s ex); Mayte Garcia (Prince’s ex); Andrea Kelly (R. Kelly’s ex); Jessica Canseco (Jose Canseco’s ex); and Sheree Fletcher (Will Smith’s ex).

The ex-wives in this show were very candid about where they are in life and where they are in their relationships with their ex-husbands.

Nicole Murphy is the epicenter of this group and is friends with all of the ex-wives and introduced Andrea Kelly to the group. Engaged to Michael Strahan and a couple of years after divorcing Eddie she seems to be in a good place. She does revel though that she was swindled out of a lot of money in an investment scheme gone wrong.

Episode 2 of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta came on last night and it was at its ratchet best! Mimi's friend Ariane is determined to help Mimi get past her infatuation with Stevie J, but it is clear she is waging a losing battle. After being humiliated the night before with Stevie J leaving with Joseline, Mimi still can't commit to moving on. Those child support checks must be AMAZING because she won't even consider letting him go.

Karlie Redd is all things messy ( and I <3 it) she managed to work both sides of the Mimi and Joseline situation with the intent to work with Stevie J. but her flapping gums may make that impossible. Karli reminded me of the BBW trouble-maker Suzie.

My name is Tinsley and I am a Bridezilla junkie (sits back down)


Jeanine & Callie....Wow where to start? Jeanine's fiance Thomas has set mankind back like 100 years because this chick has his cojones in a choke hold. I don't get why he hasn't run far far away from her. She yells at him, embarrasses him and is mean to his family... Thomas admitted to cheating on her and I understand why she forgave him (real talk no other man would put up with her behavior) but the only explanation I can think of for him actually marrying her is that she must be paying ALL of his bills and cooking him a hot meal at night because between that voice and that attitude I just can't understand why they are getting married.


Callie is marrying a Dutchman and the language barrier must be why he can't recognize the crazy that is seeping out of her pores. She cries at the drop of a hat and then gets mad at her in-laws (who don't speak English) for not liking her and hating all of the excursions she planned for the wedding weekend. FYI her in-laws loved the excursions and think she is great.....

I love bridezillas but shows like this really shed a light as to why the divorce rate is so high, because I totally understand that weddings are a stressful time but d@mn some of these chicks are just straight evil!

Empire Girls...


A new episode of Empire Girls debuted on Style Network last night. Adrienne went out on a blind date that was straight out of punked (her date asked if she was into 1 night stands and 3-somes).

During a girls night out Adrienne rehashed the date, and the discussion got heated when her friend Layla dropped the reality bomb on her that maybe Adrienne is the cause of all her relationship problems because she is too superficial...needless to say that didn't go over well and for a moment I thought she was going to flip the table over RHONJ style (the truth stings).

Adrienne then invited Julissa to the studio with her while she worked on a song with Neyo. The session went left when Julissa attempted to check Neyo about what is hot on the radio versus what he is in the studio producing. All of her "helping" led Neyo to ask Adrienne to not have Julissa come back to the studio while she is working (Julissa clearly didn't know that Neyo is sensitive about his art).


SMH at both of these chicks...Adrienne for forgetting that she needs to get back to grinding and give up the socializing, and at Julissa for not understanding that you have to keep your mouth shut in the studio when people are working.


These two are like Lucy and Ethel, with multiple wannabe fashionista outfits and way too many accessories. I can barely pay attention to what they are saying for looking at their outfits and accessories. It's Jerseylicious meets J.Lo..aka they never met an accessory they didn't want to wear.

Someone please get June Ambrose on the line stat cause they need a serious make-under!

A new episode of L.A. Hair came on WEtv last night and the drama continues. Angela the backstabbing former protege was back from suspension and causing waves with the new stylist China.

China is going all the way live already, and is making Angela look like Molly Meek with her over the top attitude and demands...She expects that when she calls for the receptionist that they be right at her elbow asking her what she needs (Where has she worked? cause it sounds like she wants an indentured servant not an assistant).


Seriously where did Kim find her? she is popping off hard, I guess the old adage of while the cat is away the mice will play and China is causing an uproar in the Kimble Salon while Kim is doing house calls.


Meanwhile Shari Headley is back in the salon with a hair emergency. In the last episode Kim cut a new do' for her only to have to do an emergency weave attachment when Shari had to do re-shoots for a movie she was filming. Kim proved why she is the weaveologist to the stars because fried, dyed and laid that ish to the side!


The episode rounded out with Jazz interviewing guys for dates with Kim and they even surprised Kim with a blind date with a cutie pie.


I <3 this show because the stylist are like every other stylist I have ever met whether ratchet or hoity toity they bring the dramz and don't care who is sitting in their chair when they do.

Episode 1 debuted tonight and it is ratchetness at it's best! Set in Atl these ladies are getting it all the way live.

Mama Dee is Lil Scrappy’s mother and a former drug dealing pimp…yeah a pimp
Mama Dee = Frankie+Mama Jones x10 which equals A LOT of crazy. In her own words “I am the QUEEN and I am not giving up my throne” well alrighty then….

Erica is Lil Scrappy’s baby mama and she took him back after he dumped her for rapper Diamond and then Diamond dumped him for Soulja Boy….Erica is clearly a Ride or die chick, but she has issues fully showing her love to Lil Scrappy because she doesn’t believe that he would be with her if Diamond hadn’t broken his heart.

Mimi is Stevie J's baby mother and the tension is centered around her trying to navigate their relationship as Stevie is not ready to commit to her (they have been together on and off for15 yrs) and yes this is the same Stevie J who was engaged to E-V-E a couple of years back. I was puzzled at how hard she is hanging on to Stevie J. especially when he does and has cheated on her, but I guess love (and a good child support check) is blind and it will take over your mind....

Joseline is a former stripper and aspiring Latina singer/rapper and Stevie J's protégé. It looks to me like she is more than just an artist, and she contributes to the issues Stevie J has with Mimi. She leaves me puzzled with her overt femininity coupled with her dragtastical demeanor…

K. Michelle is a R&B singer who has had some success but is alleging that her former manager/boyfriend abused her and that he used her 2 million dollar recording budget to finance an extravagant lifestyle...

Karlie is also a singer and aspiring actress and is the catalyst to the fight between Mimi/Stevie/Joseline because at a party for K. Michelle's birthday she unknowingly compliments Joseline and Stevie J’s relationship not knowing that Mimi is claiming Stevie J as her own….

There is so much drama and bad fashion in this show that I don’t even know where to start! From Mama Dee the former pimp trying to explain to Erica how she should express her love to K. Michelle’s crying and unfortunate wig and wardrobe choices (She wore a sheer lace illusion onesie with what my friend described as a pair of shoes with bad yaki tied around her ankle). Then there is Mimi the dowdy facing off against Joseline a grad student from RuPaul’s DragU for Stevie J’s affections.

This show is ratchetness and I <3 it!

Side Eye...Shaunie O'Neal

In the immortal words of Shaun Carter-Hova-Blue Ivy's Daddy-Jay-Z "We Don't Believe You.. You Need More People!"

Word on the curb is that Ms. O'Neal was "Shocked" to learn that 3 of her castmates from the show had been fired........Isn't this the same person who was saying that if she had her way 3 of her castmates would be cut immediately? Well 3 of them were so what is she "shocked" about? And yeah Shaunie is one of the executive producers on the show.

I have zero problem with someone doing what is best for those tv ratings but please don't pretend like you have no idea or say on what goes on behind the scenes. Ms. O'Neal gets a hard side eye for this one!

Basketball Wives Cast Members Fired

Word on the curb is that Shaunie and Shed Media are going to be making some shocking cuts to the cast of next seasons show. TMZ is reporting that Jennifer Williams, Kesha Nichols and Royce Reed will be getting the axe.

Jennifer is getting the axe because of her lawsuit against Nia Crooks
Kesha apparently doesn't have enough drama in her life
Royce is on the outs with a number of the cast members and still has a gag order against her regarding her basketball playing baby daddy

Am I the only one thinking that Shaunie is a fraud right now? So lets look at the line up left on this show:

We are supposed to believe that they are moving in a more peaceful balanced direction? Shaunie and Shed Media got rid of two of the cast members who were either physically assaulted or extremely bullied this season.

Don't know about you but I am tired of this show and I barely watched this season and I definitely won't be watching any of next season.

BasketBall Wives Reunion Part II
Part II of the reunion show debuted last night and if you watched Part I you already know this was more spinning and rewriting of history.

Tammi is still claiming that she didn't bully Kesha; Evelyn is pleading Nia's case cause you should be forgiven for slapping your ex-friend and Suzie is claiming that she didn't do her usual motor mouth of everyone's business.

Here's the question though, where did they get all this family friendly girl bonding moments from? because we did NOT see any of this during the actually season.

Ugh... I'm just so tired of these women!

Kudos to Shaunie and Shed Media for attempting to spin this dramatastical train wreck into something else but I have to say its too little too late...

Reality Rewind: I Watch So You Don't Have To!

Oprah Winfrey managed to hit the ball out of the park with her two "Next Chapter" interviews last night. First up was Michael Jackson's daughter Paris. She gave us a little insight into her fathers world and the fact that he was just a normal dad around the house. It was clear that Paris is comfortable in her own skin and trying to adjust to being raised by her grandmother instead of her famous father. Paris is passionate about acting instead of singing and has her first feature roll in the movie Lundon's Bridge and the Three Kings. Click Here to see excepts from the show.


Part two of the show featured 50 Cent. This was the first meeting between 50 and Mama O and it wasn't 15 minutes before Mama O had 50 looking like he wanted to wipe away a tear. She asked him all the questions that inquiring minds wanted to know: 

1. Does he really have a dog named Oprah?
1. Yes (she has a twitter page) and a cat named Gayle (and yes the real Gayle was in attendance)
2. Does he hate Oprah?
1. No he was hurt that Oprah didn't like the lyrics of most of the rap songs out so his response was "Why hate someone who does not even know who I am, if we cant be friends than at least we can be enemies.

What I found interesting was that 50 had the interview in his grandparents house instead of the estate that he owns in Connecticut. This interview was a good look for 50 and I think it will help people to understand him better. Part 2 comes on next week at 9pm on OWN.

The ladies in Jersey were prepped primed and hatted for Jamie and Rich's commitment ceremony. While in Chicago getting ready for the wedding Teresa's latest article about her $ woes hit the front page of a magazine and as usual she had to bring up Melissa, Kathy and Caroline....


I am always amazed at Teresa's ability to rationalize the stuff that she says in print. I can't figure out if she is as ditzy as she seems or if she is just generally clueless.

Nia Crooks sat down with VH1 to discuss her thoughts on the reunion special and her portrayal on the show, namely slapping BBW Jennifer Williams. Her sidekick Evelyn Lozado was also there and chimed in her thoughts on Nia's character.

What’s life been like for you since you appeared on the show?
Hell. I could never imagine being in this predicament over something like that. And a person that I used to love is now just somebody I knew. It’s hell.

Have people been mean, how have you been treated?
Yeah, they don’t know me and I get that, I’m part of this story, but I’m just a person that walked in a room and sat down and said something to a person and got up and smacked her. So it looks like I’m bullying someone who welcomed the smack. She said “I wish you would.” She cut the conversation off because she doesn’t want anyone to know who she really is. She’s a total different person outside of this. Being a celebrity is not for everyone, some people’s heads get inflated, some don’t. And if you have new people around you in your life, and it’s not the people you’ve been around forever, that says a lot about a person.

If you could do this over, would you have never appeared on the show?
I just wish my reaction wouldn’t have been that. I can’t take that back now, but that’s the way I was raised, that’s how I grew up, that’s a normal reaction of mine.


Evelyn: Can I just say I have known Nia for years, and I have never in all those years seen Nia cry — you know I cry at the drop of a hat — and ever since all the negativity and the lawyers and everything, I have never seen her cry like this until now and it’s tough. Nothing can ever prepare you for being in public and having a million people have an opinion about you on a daily basis. She’s just been thrown into this.


Nia: It’s not easy.




Let the spin cycle begin....

The core of why people are having such an issue with this Nia chick is that she feels justified in putting her hands on Jennifer because Jennifer uttered the phrase "I wish you would". 

Nia isn't owning her part in this situation. In the real world not "reality tv" world when you hit someone there are consequences some involve an @ss whopping and then others involve the law.

Basketball Wives Reunion Pt1.

The show opened with the "wives" seated around John Salley with the exception of Jennifer Williams who was back stage. Shaunie O'Neal began by talking about the direction of the show this season and all of the outrageous b-tch slapping, wine bottle throwing and table hopping that ensued. Claiming that all the women were committed to taking responsibility for their actions and that next season the show would take a turn for the better. 

Salley questioned Evelyn about her relationship with Jennifer (who was eventually escorted out with security) and the wine bottle throwing incident that brought "tears" to Evelyn's eyes after hearing that her soon to be step daughters thought that her actions were funny.

The slap "heard round the world" that was delivered to Jennifer via Nia was discussed at length with Jennifer clearing up when exactly she filed her report (apparently she filed charges against Nia that day but the District Attorney declined to prosecute till now). 

Much eye rolling ensued once Jennifer was brought out with Evelyn claiming that she had a friend slap her in the past and that she didn't file charges but she and that alleged friend are still friends.....sure that sounds about right because all friends fight each other (sarcasm)

These "wives" annoy me, no one likes a violent bully and all the spinning in the world doesn't make up for the bad behavior especially since all of their personal change came after the public backlash.

Reality Rewind-I Watch So You Don't Have To!

They packed a lot into last nights episode of RHONJ, the main theme of the night was "NJ <3 Gays". Rosie explained her coming out to Kathy and Rich and how that made them closer, then she had a talk with Rich and Kathy's kids about being born the way she is. All in all a touching display of tolerance and family love, and as is so typical of kids they accepted her and only had questions about whether or not she has a good gaydar.

The Manzos, Lauritas and Guidices prepared for a trip to celebrate the wedding of Jamie and his partner in Chicago. Jacqueline shed some light on the rift between Dina and Caroline. Apparently Theresa told Dina that Caroline was going to shut down any opportunities that Dina would get in the future in a "I am going to take you down!" fashion....if you are confused yeaaaah so am I.... This family has 11 kids but only 2 went to the wedding. Makes you wonder just how "close" they really are.

While Theresa, Jacqueline and Caroline were in Chicago Kathy and Melissa's families go down to the Jersey shore where Kathy throws a party and invites Cliff Robinson and his wife Heather. Turns out Heather is Rosie's type and she gave Rosie quite a look at the goods in her bikini in the hot tub.







Empire Girls debuted on the Style Network last night. The show stars Adrienne Bailon and Julissa Bermudez. Julissa moved back to NY from Cali and is living with her parents+siblings+bird aka "Dominican Grand Central". Adrienne is attempting to restart her singing/dancing career with the help of Neyo's team.

The drama for Julissa consists of trying to find love and establish herself in NY again, while being told that due to her strong accent she won't be relate-able to tv viewers.

For Adrienne she can't manage to shake the Kardashian relationship curse (especially since she has Robert Kardashian's name tattooed on her @ss). Adrienne's preoccupation almost cost her the new management deal with Neyo's team.

LA Hair on WEtv debuted last night with a load of drama and pounds of  premium yaki! Clearly this is our kind of show.....

Kim Kimbell is a Hairstylist to the Stars and she has a motley crew of weaveologists/catty/backstabbing/hair gurus on her staff. From the ditzy receptionist to the nap-in-the-hair-washing-station ex-protegee this show gives you a backstage pass to all things fabulous in hair for stars.

This show has a dollop of star power (the first episode featured the fabulous Kelly Rowland) a pinch of hair drama ( dying eyebrows blonde can cause them to fall off :-\ ) and a whole lot of potential backstabbing and envy.

Best quote of the night "You're 40 and I'm 25 I have a lot of time left a head of me and you have a lot of years behind you..... but everyone will know my name"
